ABOUT OUR CAUSE

In 2017, Laurie Heyman and Dion Nugent came up with the idea to support our not-for-profits while also involving our first responder agencies.

So they created the Battle of the Badges – 911 Chili Cook-Off.

Hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, vendors and thousands of guests come out to support annually. To date, they have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for at-risk youth, veterans, and our aging population.

100% of the proceeds of the BOB go to not-for-profit organizations.
